Just wanted to post a nice pic of a few Furys from the Foxboro show a couple of weeks ago. Yes, I know there's a Ford in there, but it is a pretty sweet ride.

The AC system was a complete mess so I removed it so really didn't need the dual pulley. Of course, I didn't keep the original, regrets... I may have to blow real money and buy an actual new one.

Interesting information... thank you. I don't mind being an "imposter" with a tweaked 318, but I don't want to get caught telling folks it's a 360. I might get chased out of the cars and coffee for that sort of thing. ;)

That's what I expected, why would they put a cool-guy decal on a 318. Although when I'm done tweaking on my 318, I'll probably find one of those decals. Nice finishing touch.

I saw some pictures of air cleaner decals that showed "318 Four-Barrel" Did Chrysler make these? if so, when?

I've checked out parts of it. I know the compressor is bad because the hoses that connect to it haven't been tightened for a long time. Stuck my endoscope camera in there, full of rust. The condenser also has all least one big leak where the inlet connects, big crack like the hose got yanked...

Hi all, My 70 Fury convertible has AC, but it doesn't function, and I'm not interested in spending the money to get it working again. I plan to remove the AC system, but I wonder if I will have any issues not having it attached to the car. Im in the process of a heater box rebuild so I figure...

I've been driving the car since March and the tank is half full with fresh 93 octane... Also the tank, fuel lines and filter are all new. That would have been my first thought too, bad gas or sediment.

The carb looks terrible as it is right now, I think I'm going to bit the bullet and buy a rebuild kit. How hard could it be...

So, by "sloshing in the brass floats" you mean that the float may have a leak and gas may be inside the float causing it not to... float?
