    Cannot get starter to crank

You are probably correct. I will check tomorrow. I will follow up after I check the ground. Thank you so much.

    Cannot get starter to crank

Highly likely. The car has sat for quite a while. It takes about 12 months to have the instrument panel rebuilt.

    Cannot get starter to crank

I know this is the C body forum, but there are many smart old guys here. I started to get my 73 Charger ready to go into the shop to have the dash and new instrument panel installed. First thing I did was to connect the two wires that run to the ampmeter. It turned over for about 5 seconds...

    The elusive parts identification begins!

Looked at the parts manual. The illustration does not show this reinforcement plate, but the parts listing section for mirrors does list a reinforcement plate. So, there you have it, no picture to identify the part!

I don't think so, I have those lights in a box here, I refreshed those lights.

Jackson, I thought it had to do something with the door handle, but I think you may be correct about the mirror mount. I will look at the parts manual tonight. I may go to my other shop and dig around the trim pieces and see if there is another with the side mirrors.
