There should be 2. The old covers were rectangle shaped rubber. Not feeling confident I could find new I bought sheets of rubber and cut new ones slightly larger then fastened them with a rivets going through the holes (mine were still there to act as templates)and a small washer.

This is my 300K. I’ve stripped it down to repair rust. I have reason to believe these seat belts are original, as this car has been in our family since 1966. I note that whoever installed them wasn’t too concerned about exactly where they went. Hope this helps.

Is oil pan sitting on drag link? Some oil pans are deeper. Are steering links all properly mounted and not “upside down”? Does it have correct engine mounts? Or damaged engine mounts?

Is this your car? I see on fb it says ‘listed 22 weeks ago’. That drivers side floor will take some work because the accelerator pedal sits on a built up section, and any pans you buy have to be altered from b-body stock. I rebuilt the floor on my own 300. Is there anything special (fender tag?)...

Has anyone tightened the bolts holding the carb to the manifold? It’s very easy to warp/crack the carb by over tightening those bolts. To check for this have someone sit in the car with his foot on the brakes. Then you spray foam cleaner at the base of the carb. Have assistant put car in gear...

So I’m cleaning up the ac/heater box on my ‘64 300K. It appears, no one has a rebuild kit for this year C body. Do I have to buy sheet rubber material and make my own gasket and grommet pieces? Any ideas ?
