    I would think so. I was thinking the low compression was causing the problem. Spec is 165.

    Looking for opinions about my 1964 NYer which has a lumpy idle especially when in gear. A little bouncy! Off idle, runs great, strong. 0 to 60 in less than 8 seconds! Engine has 104,000 miles; don’t know if ever rebuilt and not sure it would be worth the expense. Compression test varies...

    Thanks Ross, I do not have the clamp so cannot take a picture. However, it would look like a 1” OD 3” long cylinder with threads on one end. It clamps the lighter receiver from the back side of the dash. thanks much! Art
