If the power pack replacement doesn't solve your instrument lighting issue, check with the Chrysler 300 Club International, Inc. about repairing electroluminescent lighting. They have a specific resource for repairing those clusters located in the upper west coast area, maybe Oregon/Washington...
Wow, yes that was a very long time ago and I believe Sherwood Kahlanberg was his name. His son was into Mopars quite a bit too but not as much as Sherwood. Haven't heard much of anything since Sherwood passed away and his son was never into older cars as his dad was.
I surely love the 60...
DO NOT use TCP Global - it has changed hands recently apparently and no longer have any interest in matching original colors closely - all they are interested in supplying is something that is what they consider "close" but is nothing really close at all. Trust me, I lost around $1500 with them...
In 1971 there was no significant difference visually unless it was one that was used on a 440 HP engine, which doesn't appear to be the case in your situation. It if had been a 440 HP California application, it would have had an extra idle retard solenoid mounted on the base of the carburetor...
Since I live in Southern California, I use Karps Brake Service in Chino for most all of my brake rebuilding services. They are very good at what they do and he also has skilled workers in his shop to get the work done on a timely basis. I have never had an issue with them in some 35 years now...
Both myself and a good friend of mine did consider this but the original color already is scintillating quite a bit in sunlight and increasing it further would just be too high. We are adjusting the fine metallics to make it shine in the sunlight just like the original color. Nonetheless...
It is really difficult to know what went on in the order taking process but a real problem they face is TCP Global doesn't seem to be able to formulate a precise original color anymore. What their current website now says is that they use approximate original colors that show up online when one...
I just wanted to update some of my past comments on TCP Global. I recently ordered some paint they said they could duplicate precisely. The last time I had any results from one of the members here was from @73Coupe when he ordered some paint for his recently purchased 1971 Chrysler New Yorker...
Those Holley 4 barrel carburetors were the 4160 models if I am recalling correctly. They were well known for the middle metering blocks warping over time and heat cycles that resulted in significant leaks in both those and the fuel bowls on the ends. I joined Chrysler Corporation in 1969 and...

The car has about 100K miles on it as I recall in talking to the seller last week. He removed the engine and trans expecting to restore the car but since he works 6 days/week, he decided he had no time to really do...
I bought a bunch of nos parts for my 1971 sunroof Newport when I received it a few years ago now and I will have to look through those parts to see if I bought some of those tail lights. I know for sure I bought an nos rear bumper center applique but not certain on the lenses.
@ayilar got me...
I would have to agree with @ayilar when he asked whether the original dash (bezel) has been changed since while the aftermarket radio was installed with its own requisite bezel, the assumed original dash bezel has a cutout that could only be for an 8 track tape player and it is still visible...
