Completed Bowden cable!

It appears the PO had installed the Impala Bowden cable, AND it was broken, because after I fabricated a replacement, I found the wire was too long. Some careful measurement, and I had it on the second try! Enjoy the pictures, and thanks for all the help!

I couldn't bring myself to try the temporary "fix". It wasn't exactly fun to get out, but I won the battle, no small thanks to the comments here. I'm going to fabricate a replacement from scratch, so I'll post pictures of that as I go.

That did help! So it would appear that the cable housing has detached inside the column at the end of the stalk, and actuating the turn signal shoves both the cable AND housing together. That is consistent with what I'm seeing. I guess I either disassemble the column or pick a tilt angle I like...

I'm stumped on this one. I completely disassembled, cleaned, polished, and re-assembled the turn signal switch. The best I can tell, the turn signal lever isn't generating enough "throw" at the cable end to fully actuate the switch, because if I manually move the switch left/neutral/right it...
