Has anyone ever seen a screen/ shade for the back window

Volvo used to offer one of the roll-up style for their s70. Sat on the parcel shelf and hooked to clips that were already on the headliner. Its been on our s70 for 20 years on always extended. Still in good shape, and also helps with bright headlights in your mirror!

The Latest Mopar Action, Its Got An Imperial...

Mopar Action was fair to me, don't recall seeing anything from car craft or mopar muscle. One of these days I'll see if they'll transfer mine to hot rod or motor trend.

65 Sport Fury Rear Axle Bearing Replacement

Definitely pack the bearing with grease. It's supposed to be lubed by the grease only, not the gear oil.I'm not sure of the measurements, measure and record the depth of the inner seal before you remove the old one. You may see a spot on the axle where the seal has been rubbing.

    Vintage NASCAR

in post #844 it looks like the #48 Mercury has the Cyclone Spoiler II front end on it. Were the ford/mercury cars restricted to 5 liter engines if they ran the aero bodywork in 1971? I'd never heard of any of the fords doing this, just the Rossi/Brooks Daytona.

    The Chrysler Kit Car

Wow! Didn't know he'd raced a Dodge on dirt, wonder what body style? And thanks for all the "gems", The black #1 is gorgeous! And the body-work on the #11, really neat. Great to see the Cushman car being restored, hope we get to see more photos. I know in USAC, Kits and B bodies raced together...

    The Chrysler Kit Car

Pretty sure this caption is incorrect. Front frame rails are steel tubing, not stock like Kit Car. Also transmission crossmember looks fabricated, Kit Car used stock piece with fabricated, stamped upper reinforcement. Looks to me like a '71 or later Cup car being fabricated at Pettys.

    The Chrysler Kit Car

Very cool stuff! like the detail shots of the engine block. And a camaro bodied kit car! well I guess that explains what happened to some of them. Great to see the Kit Car sticker on the hood, crediting Chrysler for the chassis.
