Headlight dimmer switch for Sentinel system.

I don’t have any reference materials here so everything is from memory. The three terminal connector is for the headlights with the power in the center connection. You could plug a standard Foot dimmer switch in this and have your headlights working. You can also jump the center terminal to...

Headlight dimmer switch for Sentinel system.

The Twilight Sentinal systems turns on the head lights... The auto dimming, does the dimming. These are two differnt options. To my recollection the auto dimming system was never called a Twilight Sentinal ... hence the word Twilight in the name His is a 69 which is two or three generation...

Headlight dimmer switch for Sentinel system.

so... the current for the head light does not go through the dimmer switch with the "auto dimming option" unlike standard headlights. Follow the wire from the foot switch and you will find a relay up under the dash. The only reason for low beam to be dead i would think would be an open wire or...

    Swap out mirror glass?

It would be nice to get something concave (fish eye) a bit to replace that flat glass.

New project: Allen Engine analyzers, restoration?

I love stuff like that myself. Have two automotive oscilloscopes and one sun distributor tester. You need to be good with electronics to keep them running. Typically they need to be re -capped. Kinda funny but most of my cars I can’t use them on as I have updated/changed out the ignition...

    Fuel injection advice.......

Ignition is actually easy if you are doing sequential MPI as you know what need firing from the MPI. You are most of the way there But if you are building and installing the system get it going and running well with fuel only then add ignition after ward other wise trouble shooting is brutal...

    Fuel injection advice.......

I think coil on plug with our engines and exhaust manifolds would get ugly in a hurry plus you would need to get a cam position sensor installed some where. For me I don’t see the advantage of COP over waisted spark and COP is way more stuff to add and control (cam position, sequencer, 8 coils...

    Fuel injection advice.......

For the wasted spark installation is using a 36-1 trigger wheel on the crank. It is mounted on the damper but on the solid ring. I heat shrunk the ring on. The wasted spark for my install uses the ford edits module with the ecu controlling the timing. The coils are from a neon. Kinda plug...

    Fuel injection advice.......

I have done 3 fuel injection installs on my fleet along with and wasted spark ignition. One on the ford motor home with a 390. Has great power so it does not help with fuel economy. And two installs on both my 67 440s. One with MegaSquirt the other with MSD's Atomic EFI systems. All TBI...

    66 Monaco Wagon A/C Resurrection

To help keep your high pressures in check and gain efficiencies.. You make want to help the air flow through the condenser with some baffles to connect the condenser to the rad support. This way the rad fan pulls the air though the condenser and not around it. Good work overall Steve
