My 65 Polara convertible has a rear tag fuel fill tube. It needs a tank also. May find a new one as this one has been damaged before. I could not find a new tank on another project of mine (rare low build AMC Convertible) so I had a radiator shop near Austin, TX clean it out and braze fill-in...
Let me know when you estimate you may have one. I'm in Centeral Texas. 78759 US zip code. What else may you have from a polara? This is a 65 convertible, mostly complete but for a few items mostly trim or cosmetic. Steering whelel is quite age damaged too; right rear roll down quarter window...
No, 1965 Dodge Polara was moved to C-Body. That is why I am on this forum. There is no Polara dash pad that I can see for a 1965. It was distinctive two camel hump design over the gauge cluster.
Yes, assumed so but wanted to see seems lots of sheet metal for Mopar Muscle car bodies none for C-body. I did find one guy Fitzee's that fabricates his own and has a great video on trunk floor patches, so will see if I can follow his lead. Of course this is his business and he has metal...
I have a patched trunk floor pan and would like to replace with a new trunk floor.
Floor metal for inside the car appears to be good.
Is there a vendor for C-Body floor panels? Thanks
Is convertible window glass specific to each make and model? I have a 65 Dodge Polara convertible that is missing RH rear window glass and LH driver's window glass.
Please let me know if you know exactly what years C-body convertible window glass fit other years, makes, models. (What other...
Nice. Do you know if there an data base for # of units built for each body/type and year? For example, the 1965 Dodge Polara Convertible I just won at an auction. How many 1965 Dodge Polara convertibles were made? Any record of build numbers?
Not buying it. Nor are all the motor guys at Hot Rod. I go to race tracks NHRA, F1, NASCAR, Moto GP, never heard anyone in the Pits saying put back pressue into my exhaust system I want to go faster...
Was looking for source for new exhaust system when I saw this thread. Thanks for the mention of the few aftermarket sources. So this is a reply to old these old posts as I am new on this forum but not new to performance cars, trucks, boats.
This is a pure urban street nonsense...
