Had an issue like this. Starter would crank but car would not start. Went to this forum and someone said to replace the ballast resister. Did this and the car fired right up. Took longer to find the ballast tester than it did to replace it.
I’d like to hear more about the Mrs Big John mixture. I could use something like that to keep the mice out of the car and have it smell a bit better.

Nice are a problem. I live in the country mice are here. I use traps I use dryer sheets I’ve tried everything
They get into the car do whatever on the carpet and the car carries the smell when out for a ride

I had this done to my 69 Newport convertible
Replaced the master cylinder with a new one. Added a disc booster pump with a proportional valve. Works great and has no problem stopping this beautiful work of art.
I kept my 383 added an edelbrock, holli 650cfm 4bbl and headman headers. Dual exhaust
Sound incredible looks great. Goes when I want it to but mostly I use it to cruise around and make heads turn.
