I know it's a long shot but does anyone rebuild those dampers on the convertible only idler arms? Mine is leaking fluid so I suspect it needs a reseal with some viscous fluid but I read these are serviced as a unit only? Anyone know how to address this or convert to a more conventional setup...

Did you ground the body of the motor and touch positive to either wire? It wont work if you simply hook negative to one wire and postive to the other. Clamp a battery charger cable to the body of the motor and turn it up to 25 amp or more. Touch the positive to either wire and it should move. If...

Its vinyl is kinda rough but frame is solid. Id go 45 bucks for the complete back but you got to take care of shipping which could be like double that depending who you want to use.

Glad to help. Wish i could get mine finished speaking of rust. Youd think the desert here would help there but i got the same ol trunk and extension woes as you rustbeltbucket folks. Not to say it will but if that bumper deal doesnt happen you are next on the list.
