I am looking at a couple of suspension kits online as the bushings in the Fury have about had it.
I would like to know some opinions and experiences from others who have ordered from the kits available.
I just spoke with a rep from classicautoair yesterday. I had ordered the B Body Kit because I figured it was pretty much the same. He let me know that the connectors for the condenser would be different but they had the right parts to help me anyway.
I paid a "shop" really good money to have my A/C brought back to like new condition using original style components. They did a halfway R134a conversion and didn't use the proper seals or replace my condenser coil. Using RTV to seal the compressor flanges, pinching the seals they did install and...
I found this info pretty easily. Apparently there is a guy who will rebuild the valve for $130. This article also explains how to rebuild one yourself. Here's a link.SW-EM Heater Control Valve
Thanks for the info, I'll be checking around. I just got my car back from a classic restoration shop that was letting it sit. I had the A/C "re-done" back to original and I guess they took me literally because originally it didn't work and still doesn't.
Well, I left the parking brake on for a couple of miles a few months back and ended up glazing my shoes. I feel like a dumbass but it is what it is. I had a bad transmission leak that popped up halfway through a 200 mile trip and its the first car that I've had to check the fluid level in...
I recently had my A/C refurbished and converted to R134a. NOT CHEAP. We put it back together with the factory type compressor which utilizes the dual v-belt set up. The shop installed new belts because the old(new) ones were slapping each other around like a couple of nerds fighting over a girl...
There's no harm in that. I plan on replacing my lenses as well since someone in the past (eh-hem) chipped them up. Something to note. That tiny lock screw in the bottom holds the bulb socket (not the threaded part of the lens) stationary or else it will spin indefinitely. I just experienced this...
I have personal experience with this on my 1968 Fury III. The lens is threaded into the chrome housing. If you are already able to turn them, keep turning to the left and you should be able to knock the lens out by shaking or banging it on your hand. The bulbs are super tiny, I had to order them...
