Thanks commando1.
Another member directed me to a link that had several manuals available.

I grabbed a manual for a 1963 Chrysler as there was no 1963 Dodge manual.
The spec you gave me was a bit different from the manual but would probably be fine...
I found that I can use the newer, felt type filter with this transmission as long as I change to the newer pan with the "bump out" for the filter. However, I still don't know what the proper torque/adjustment is for the bands. Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi everyone. I am in the process of changing the kickdown shaft seal in my 880's transmission. When I removed the pan I noticed it has a metal screen type filter. Can I install the "newer style" fiber filter or should I just clean the metal one and re-install it? This is the oldest Mopar trans I...
Can anyone help me with the correct torque spec for the axle nuts on my car? it is an 8-3/4" with tapered axles. I did finally find all the parts for the brakes but don't have the torque spec to tighten up the drums.
Thanks!
saylor: Oh I hate it when stuff like that happens! If you can find the part #'s that would be great! I think it is interesting that I am able to find parts for my girlfriend's 1955 Nash Ambassador easier than my 63' 880.
Thanks 1978 NYB but I already checked with them on this. I need "exact fit" parts. They have several that may work but I may also have to modify them. I would just as soon get the right parts so I don't have to tinker with them. Way too many projects going on (as always) hehehe.
Thanks Tallhair but the parts from Rock Auto total $14.82. Shipping is $22.98. I am not trying to be a penny pincher but shipping is a bit ridiculous on the small items is all. I am hoping to find them locally.
I forgot to mention I have 11" x 2-1/2" brakes. I was hoping to get them from a local parts store. I did check rock auto for all of the parts but shipping was more than the parts. That is why I am looking locally. My car has a 361 in it. Thanks.
Hi all!
I am looking for a source for return springs and adjusters for the rear brakes on my 1963 Dodge 880. I have located all of the other parts through NAPA. Thanks!
No doubt! I just picked up this car about 5 weeks ago. I'm the 3rd owner. It has been garage kept since new. It needs some mechanical TLC but I did drive it home and I paid less than a grand for it.
