They used to make a water injection to mist into your running car. Water canister, pump (like your wiper pump) and a tube run through the top of your air cleaner. Never tried it but it was available. Early 80s.

The son of the original owner had it made and couldn’t get it to stretch on. He probably used the original for snap placement. I have it, it’s just a little rough.

There is a strip on the boot that looked like it should slip in there but I had already stretched it on. Next time I’ll put it in the slot first and see what kind of mess I can make of that! Thanks for the info.

No headers just crappy coffee stained carpet. Factory jute backing is 1-1/4 thick. ACC carpet is about 3/8 and will never fit tight in the molded floor.
