Thank you! this clarifies a lot. it seams that the 2964804 emblem follows the pattern that the parts book numbers were superseded as I have found all of the 3444 numbers are actually 2964 emblems on the cars. Those sail panel emblems look like they have the same pin configuration as the fender...

Yes it is weird. I ran into this same scenario on 1971 charger headlight door emblem and it ended up being used on multiple Dodge cars

It is possible that it may fit other applications, once I confirm the actual part number on the backside we will know for sure. The part number listed in the Mopar parts book is not a good number, 3444181 it comes up no where. i ran into this on the THREE HUNDRED trunk lid emblems.

Thanks, I saw that one but noticed that the headlight door is list in electrical and the only emblem listed in that section was for Chargers. So I just wanted to make sure that I'm looking at the right part number emblem.

Yes you are correct. On headlight doors I have learned that the part numbers are not in the parts book in most case but once the emblem is removed the numbers on the back prove very helpful in locating and making the emblem.
