For sale: 1968 GTX, 426 Hemi w/auto trans. The hemi has new never used roller rockers, 12.5:1 compression, and has a fresh rebuild. The heads are off for inspection. The block has had a water jacket crack professionally repaired and has been pressure tested. The trans is a 727. The interior is mostly bare with buckets and back seat. The body is good with only a small amount of rust on the driver's floor, front fenders, and deck lid. It is missing the grill but is complete otherwise. This sale comes with the original 150mph speedometer, a document stating the original 48,000 miles to confirm the odometer reading, the original GTX body, and a donor car. This car is a project and is almost completely disassembled. The donor car is a 1968, 383, Sport Satellite and the GTX originally came with a 440. Both car bodies come with this sale. I have a 69 GTX body if you prefer but it has no title and would not come with a donor car for the same price.
I will NOT part these cars out. Do Not ask!!! If you only want part of it, buy it all and part it out yourself. I will consider a trade up or down for a Viper or maybe a Corvette, nice muscle car, or NSX. Other trades (especially sports cars) may be considered but it must be a running, driving car. A very nice 390/343, 4-speed AMX might do it. You must be able to bring your car to me. I am only selling this because I do not have time for a project.
