Searching for a Carter AVS choke pull off linkage, consensus is that I need to rob one off of a junk carb core. Or fab it up.

Second post: car I got is a 1964 Dodge Custom 880,

(Car year Probably won't matter though, due to different year carb/manifold I'm running.)

The carb I have currently with the manifold also.

#2806301 intake manifold 1968-1969

Carter AVS #4635S 1968-1969

Appreciate you asking, but this may end up being a fool's errand trying to source parts to make a different year carb/car/year to make it work.

u r working on converting a 66 full size 2 barrel to a 4 barrel carter avs in 66 the afb would be te upgrade carb i think the linkage is the same with avs & afb . i have a parts cd for a 72 chrysler the rod & linkag my be the same / i will take a pic of mine & try to send it to u .

Thanks, will keep looking for linkages in the meantime.

Main issue is that the car is a 64' so I need to find linkages to accomodate a 4 barrel from the same year or similar, 65/66 was when chrysler moved away from the throttle rod settup to a cable settup.

The carb that was originally on the car was a 2 barrel stromberg WWC-3.

What I have now is a 1968 Carter AVS #4635S with a 68' manifold #2806301.

So the slotted rod is what I need? I'll keep my eyes peeled on that part.

the downshift rod was for the car ( full size ) i think the rod was for a carter full size with a rb in it . u have a b motor right? the 361 ,38&400 rods should be the same / i have a collom shift . u have a push buttons there r a differant set up u need to talk to someone that has done that like clay kossuth thas all he runs on his VICTORY NSS CARS .
