    The M code is for a standard duty 400 2 bbl, not the HP P code 400 you would expect. It could be a detective car or personal car for an official but almost certainly not a patrol vehicle. Would be interesting to see the rest of the build or fender tag, if it actually had the A38 package at all

    I call bs, chrysler didn't offer the 400 with a 4 bbl carburetor in 1972, he needs to show the fender tag or build sheet, it should say either E68 or E64, otherwise it's just a run of the mill base 2bbl with parts slapped on it

    I went and looked at this car a few weeks ago, I came to the same conclusion. I'm looking for a body that's in better shape than my 77 cop car, but the quarters and floors are gone on this one too and filled with bondo.
