What is correct belt width for power steering belt (1967) ?

I'm looking at the '67 Monaco/Polara service manual, it shows several diagrams of how the belts are routed, it gives tightning specs for the accessory belts, but doesn't actually give belt details like length / width or size code. Strange.

What is correct belt width for power steering belt (1967) ?

This pertains to the small block LA 318 if that matters. On a car without A/C. I notice that my alternator belt seems to ride at the proper location in the pulleys, but the power steering belt seems to ride a lot lower. Both are 1/4 inch belts. Is this correct?

Was there more to this ad than what is printed across the top? Sort of seems incomplete. I find it strange that it's only girls / daughters. No boys / sons. ?

    New garage for the C's..

I assume you're putting insulation in the walls. Are you going with fiberglass, or roxull? (do they even sell fiberglass anymore?). I've been replacing my outer wall fiberglass with roxull. I'm convinced it's a better insulation and safer from a fire pov.

    CHRYSLER 1968 FOREST GREEN METALLIC

Here's my example of old paint vs new paint. The old paint isin't actually the original paint the car had. It was repainted in 1987, the instructions were to match it exactly. The example below shows an inner fender and the windshield or hood/vent trim piece (not sure what the correct name...

    CHRYSLER 1968 FOREST GREEN METALLIC

Over the past 2 months I have bought about 6 spray cans of the custom-mixed single-stage (base coat) spray from a local body shop supply place. My car is the 1967 dark forest green metalic. I don't know if the color changed from 1967 to 1968 or is the exact same. (does anyone know about color...

    Ammeter bypass

If you've looked at or replaced the bulkhead connectors or are otherwise satisfied that they are ok, I would just add parallel lines through the bulkhead to the ammeter instead of cutting the existing wires as you describe at the 13:00 mark in the video. For a stock, un-altered car, adding a...

If you are refering to the statement that I put in brackets, I just put that there because it's the title of the article. Can you (or someone) explain the difference between the 2-field-wire vs the 1-field-wire alternators? Your diagram shows the second field wire on a blue-wire bus running through bulkhead connector 23 to the ignition switch. I'm not sure what functionality is happening with the ignition...

WANTED Two barrel carburetor spacer phenolic/composite

What I mean is, is the 2-bbl stromberg on the 383 using the same gasket as the 2-bbl carter on the small block. Because there is a thick gasket (almost 1/2 inch thick) for the Carter (small block) BBD's. There apparently is a BBD for the big block, I know nothing about it.

Question about oil pressure sensor / switch

I'm going to buy the 3-wire sender, I figure one of the wires is for the oil light, the other 2 are a piezo-resistive element that reacts to pressure. I'll build a circuit to get a signal out of that and I'll have an oil pressure reading, put a readout in the cabin somewhere.

Question about oil pressure sensor / switch

I was flipping around rock auto, checking a few different years for the 318 oil sender switch, I figure the threaded hole in the block is going to be the same for a lot of different years, I see this sender: Looks like what I have, except it has 3 contacts instead of 1. How does this one work?
