    727 Transmission Rebuild

I am building a 77 era 727. I ordered the full kit from Monster Trans. It is a good kit and has everything you need. I then added upgraded planetaries from A&A. (ggod people to deal with) Instead of brass thrust bearings their upgraded planetaries have small roller bearing thrust bearings...

    Had to Buy This one!

Yes, I agree about prices. I needed a "Farm Truck", so I bought this truck. Don't ask how much I paid (but too much), it is what I wanted a 24 valve Cummins, and it is 6 speed manual. Fully loaded. and yes, it is a consignment shop, but I am getting lazy, and i have done a lot of business...

    Had to Buy This one!

Yeppers, I have visions of a Roadkill "Muscle Truck" with bucket seats, BB power, and A/C. I think it has a 9 1/4 rear, so will have to think on that! Other than that, buff it out and keep the current finish/patina! I need a go to town rig when we move to the farm this summer. Don't want to...

    Carlisle 2022

To All, am thinking about attending. I will bring my 4 car trailer, possibly 2 Cordobas and 2 Imperials. Not sure where to stay. I prefer Hilton family of hotels and then Marriott. Any thoughts where? Is Harrisburg the preferred place, or elsewhere? Not sure I want to stay in the truck...

    Picking up a yard ornament

Yeppers, the white seal coat is the key. I had a guy repaint some of it and used and different seal coat color, I said that will not work, he did it anyway, and then it looked all wrong. Had to redo the paint!

    Electroluminescent Dash

Thanks Steve. The posting stated that the voltage increased quite a bit. But I am not sure my 61 dash is compared to his 62.

    Electroluminescent Dash

Just wondering, I just bought a 61 Imperial. I have been reading and researching. I came across that installing a capacitor in the power supply to the dash lights brightens up the lights. Electronics is one area that I have little to no knowledge. Should I be looking into doing the same for...
