Original rims needed for my 1970 Fury

Any paperwork? Window sticker? Even the tire size decal in the door jam will give clues as to what it had originally. Generally base /6 cars got 15x5s, 318-383 cars got 15x5.5s & 440 cars typically got 15x6s.

    Another V-Code ‘70 Fury Surfaced?

Both GTs were very nice. The orange car even had H70-15 Polyglas tires on it (as did Bills car)!

    Group 24, 27 or 34 battery? Good brand? Marine/RV ?

AC Delco has a nice flat top Group 27 battery that works perfect with the plastic battery toppers. I bought mine through Autozone. No complaints after 2-3 years now.

    Carb choice for a 440

o2 positioning is due to keeping condensation from potentially collecting in the tip of the sensor and ruining it. Generally the closer to 12 o'clock positioning you can place it the better.

    Carb choice for a 440

Old school, reading plugs and running it down the track. It was way lean and breaking up in the higher RPM. Every jet & rod change resulted in better/quicker et's. I think I went as far as I could with what comes in the edelbrock tuning kit. I even bought extra, larger jets then what comes in...

    Another V-Code ‘70 Fury Surfaced?

Looks fantastic Trev! Get your motor painted as well? That car needs a nice master cylinder or at least a correct appearing lid ;)

    Carb choice for a 440

I run the 800cfm avs2 on my mild 440 in my SFGT. I had to richen it up significantly from what it was ootb. But once dialed it runs fantastic and starts right up. Very snappy too. I will always recommend the 800cfm for big blocks. Save the 650s for small blocks..

    Odd 440 Block

No 440HPs were used in trucks. Trucks & motorhomes typically didnt get a VIN stamped in the block like passenger cars.

NOT MINE '71 Monaco coupe parts car $500

NOT MINE 1969 Fury III and a 70 Plymouth sport fury GT (440)

Its in pretty rough shape, sunk up to the rockers. But it does look complete & IS a real SFGT so it deserves to be saved. I believe from what I remember a few years ago the '69 was intended to be the donor metal car. I have too much on my plate currently but if someone did end up buying it and...

    Odd 440 Block

Imo looks like a typical truck/rv 440 that someone down the line wacked an HP stamp in. Definitely not original..
