    Weird sales question

I’m in the Calgary area. The car was badly repainted a cream colour, but I’m putting back to its original f8 green which looks great with the tan interior. I’m a big stock/fender tag guy

    Weird sales question

Oh, I will definitely do that as well as list it up here locally. You guys and gals in the US have the huge advantage of the strength of your dollar which helps a lot.

    Weird sales question

I’m just finishing up painting my 1970 300 convertible back to its factory colour. I’ve rebuilt the factory matching numbers 440 and done a bunch of other work on it. Unfortunately it’s looking like I’m going to sell the car either in the fall or next spring. I know a lot of these cars over the...

    72 satellite wagon torque spec

I’ve got an FSM on the way for my 72 satellite wagon but it’s not here yet. I’m swapping out tires and rims back to the factory 14” steel rims so I can put the factory wheel covers on. Can anyone help me out with the wheel nut torque spec for my wagon?

    14” white lines?

Thin white walls, or white lines are interchangeable terms depending on the maker. White lines, red lines, red streak, etc

    14” white lines?

Also, what would an equivalent tire size of a factory 1972 size?

    14” white lines?

I’m looking for a set of 14” white line tires to get the perfect stock look on my 1972 Satellite wagon. They seem almost impossible to find these days. Does anyone know a source for them? I’m in Canada which doesn’t help with sourcing some.

1960 desoto paint and trim decode

I’m looking at a 1960 desoto adventurer that was Canadian made and I was looking for a bit of help in deciding the build tag. Model P-S-3-M-23 Body number 302 Paint code CC Trim code PBK I know C is Jamaica blue, so I’m guessing CC would be blue too and body? Any help with this tag would be...

    1970 300 body line

Perfect John, exactly what I need. The body line is slightly less raised but still clearly there which they butchered on mine.

    1970 300 body line

So I’m finally at the point of prepping the rear half of my 1970 300 convertible for paint. The car had some very crude body work and a repaint years ago at the top of the rear wheel arches. As you can see in the photo someone just bent up a 90 degree piece and welded in along the top of the...

    Front marker light grounding issue

I’ve repainted my car back into its factory colour after stripping the previous paint jobs off. I reinstalled all of the lights, etc and both front side marker lights (amber) in each fender aren’t staying on with the lights on. If I reach into the back of them and wiggle each one they will go...

    1957 Windsor questions

I’m very curious to confirm the factory paint colours. According to the firewall tag it’s 2711, and I know that means 27 is the roof and side trim colour, and 11 is the body but I’m having a hard time finding what colours those codes were in 57. Can anyone set me straight on what colours 27 and...

    1957 Windsor questions

The Windsor was delivered today and it is going to be a very good car when I’ve restored it. Needs rockers and front floor pans, but other than that it’s a very solid car. I’m missing a few parts but hopefully they should be easy to track down. I thought I would post up a photo of the firewall...
