    It has a 99 above and below the AB codes which is confusing. Most Chryslers have the engine code only below the alpha designation. Some codes are misleading. The Galen 62-65 book doesn't feature full size codes*

    My 65 300L has the same AB99 code. Did they build 300Ls with a standard cid engine 8 cyl? It does have the breather hose and PCV commie california package, though.
