    Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

...the same as what I experienced in Wisconsin earlier this summer when the issue first became apparent, so hopefully Medina is all ready for the CATL. What's left? Replace a leaky gas cap (ordering NOS P/N 3583561 from @marty mopar), fix an annoying exhaust leak, and finalize the A/C rebuild...

C-bodies At The Lake (CATL): A caravan from Rockford to Milwaukee, Sept. 7

The plan is indeed for a second CATL in early September 2020, and it'll be great to have a longer caravan. Already looking forward to it!

...at the planned stops in Oglesby (around 11AM), Peoria (around 1PM), and Peru (around 3:15PM). That approach worked well at the 2019 and 2020 CATL Drives, allowing more members to participate. @Xenon @70NEWYORKER @metaldad @tallhair @swartzed @MarPar @Wonderwagon @furious70 @Cbodies69-73...

    BEST RADIATOR OPTION

...is cooling properly. I'll be driving that car for the first time since the cleaning for several hundred miles this coming weekend at the 2020 CATL, so I'll be able to judge for myself. There is a (very expensive) OEM alternative, Glen Ray. @saforwardlook has used their services -- see here...

Links Bridge Run (Maryland, October 8, 2022)

...As usual with the runs that I organize (cue the Creamery Run and the Potomac Run with the same friends a couple of years ago, or the annual CATL drives), driving big Mopars on small scenic roads is the plan! I am posting in the hope that others will join us. As always, if the whole trip is...

    Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

...got to drive Medina today for almost two hours, for the first time since Volo. What a difference Wyatt’s work has wrought — she is again quiet and at the same time powerful. The ride is smooth and composed. Love it! Here she is on Friday evening, ready to be fed 93 ahead of the CATL this...

    C bodies in motion thread

...cars already? :poke: Out on my 20 mile loop I like to drive. Beautiful day, perfect for a cruise. Got the tie rods and idler arm installed, and have an alignment in the morning. Head out to Illinois early in the afternoon for the CatL drive (Moo!) and the Car-b-que. Should be a fun weekend!

    BEST RADIATOR OPTION

I have the same radiator in my 66 Polara with a 440. Even when the temps hit around 100 this summer, I had no problems. The only time it even moved slightly past 190, was when I got stuck in a drive through and the outside temp was 100. As soon as I got moving, it was back down to 190. FFW, I...

...(both period and current) follow that scheme. I am hoping that the 300 and its new owner will be able/willing to join C-bodies At The Lake (CATL) road trip from Belvidere, IL to Milwaukee, WI and back on September 6 (even if only for part of the trip) and/or @sixpkrt's C-Body Car-B-Que in...

    Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

Following the CATL and @sixpkrt’ s CBCBQ, Medina has put on more than 500 miles through Lincoln’s great state. Here are pictures I took last night (when I stopped for dinner) and today (at picnic time) during a drive through the cornfields of Central Illinois. Pretty obvious is the fact that...

Look forward to pics of your car -- here is Medina, my '71 Monaco hardtop coupe, the day before the first CATL (@71Polara383 took this very nice pic; the previous owner added the rear stripe, hope you don't mind it too...

    My CATL Drive Experience

...I did for the first "C-bodies At The Lake", my plan is to post in early July next year a thread detailing the itinerary and timing of our second CATL Drive. @Greg M: (i) if for some reason you don't see that future thread, simply PM me in mid-summer 2020; (ii) don't forget about the most...

@GOLDMYN -- any chance that you might meet C-bodies At The Lake, in Milwaukee, after noon on Sept. 6th? You're about 1.5 hours north, so I'm hoping -- wagon, 'vert, whichever you bring would be great!

Greatest C-Body Project Vehicle Ever! (Possibly?)

...got a car barley running after 22 years of sitting, did minimal maintenance to make it roadworthy, and set off on a 1,250 mile adventure, the CatL Drive to Milwaukee. It was awesome, and just what I needed. I don't realize I did a Roadkill type trip until I had watched another twenty...
