    69 fury shocks

...to have that sweet 440 , I was just wondering if you had , or if they were even available to have a floor console in a 69? That would be the perfect car, I’m going to try the kyb shocks and came across a post about pertronix igniter I think I’ll try it , still waiting to get car in for new...

    1973 Imperial shocks.

I did some digging around on shock lengths today. I had a new set of KYB KG5512 rear shocks from a B-body here, looked up the specs then compared to the stock shocks on my Imperial. KG5512 Ext 22.64" Comp 13.98" travel 8.6" Imperial shocks Ext 24.5" Comp 16" Travel 8.5". Not too far off in...

    Love the wheels.

    1973 Imperial shocks.

...up. Took for a test drive, very nice improvement. No more bumper crashing dives or rear lifting in the air over road irregularities. The longer KYB rear shocks KG5413 worked out as needed, allow enough drop for rear wheel re and re. Happy owner/driver here, good bang for the buck. I hope the...

    Santa list for suspension parts!

Thanks for the list! I was thinking of adding rear springs, shackles and ubolts to my list. Could you follow up when job is done with any problems I should watch out for?

    1973 Imperial shocks.

...They don't allow enough drop for wheel to be reinstalled. I will wait to see what the KG5413 give me for clearance. The Online Imperial club has a listing from KYB of KG5423. I thought it to be a bit too long, here is a link. Year Specific Shock Absorber Information For Your (Chrysler) Imperial

    Viking shocks anyone?

Note: KYB does not make rear shocks for Chrysler and Plymouth 1972 thru 1973 c-body cars. They used to but the part # is obsolete. C&P shock is longer than Dodge.

    1962 chrysler 300 sport shocks

I got KYB shocks for my '62 300 from NAPA.

    Viking shocks anyone?

Does anyone have expierience with the double adjustable viking shocks? How would they compare to bilsteins or even the KYB? I am looking to replace my monroe airshocks in the back soon and want to get something that is a little more performance oriented. I have KYB gas adjust in the front...

    NOT MINE 1969 dodge monaco

...job and hardened seats were installed to run unleaded gas. some of the other things I have done since I had the car, just installed new rear KYB shocks on the rear, the front are good, it had one bad tie rod end but I replaced all 4 of them. I was told that the transmission was rebuilt from...

What are you working on today??

I have always wanted a 2nd generation Ranchero... especially a '64 or '65. This one shows up at some local shows. I built this slot car (drag) for a friend.

    Front shocks making me mad

When all else failed, they detached the lower ball joint. Me? I heard the KYB stories so many times I refused to consider them.

Can't get rear wheels on my 73 Fury ?!?!

I had KYB 5512s on my 1972 Fury. Exact same problem with 215 tires. Wrong shock for the car. Also wrong for 1972-1973 Chrysler. Returned 5512s to Rock Auto and told them the listing was wrong. Did they correct it? Sounds like: NO.

    New Shock Frustrations ...

Yes, the new KYB is larger. Just over a mm wider than the ancient Delco ones. (I’m going to guess Delco was the old name of what is now AC Delco?)

    1973 Imperial shocks.

When I replaced the shocks on my '73 Newport Navajo, I had a helluva time finding shocks for the rear. KYB has them for the front, but not the rear. That is how I ended up with the Gabriels. During my quest for shocks that fit, I also found NAPA had their own brand of gas shock, but I had...

    1969 F3 touch up paint

..., I’ll give them a try, also does anyone know who makes the best shocks for my fury? I punched in my year and make car for shocks and it says kyb shocks, gas adjust , after the shocks and exhaust system I will be getting the suspension looked at and get it on the road , I just took 53 years...

    Front shocks making me mad

Subscribed. I put standard Monroes on when I first got my car, better than the leaking originals but not much. After much back and forth here and many positive reviews I have a full set of KYB silver waiting to be installed.

Front End Rebuild - Firm Feel or any other options?

The rear leaf springs are flat and mounted higher at the rear than the front. This causes the rear to actually steer into the turn when the car body leans to the outside of the turn. This is designed to reduce over steer. If you put stiff roll bars on it without dialing in the total suspension...
