...the break-in looks great. I will still do a standard 20 minute / 2,500 RPM break in just to be sure. Here is the website: Cam-King: Reliable Camshaft Break-In Solution Those of you with little to no experience installing a flat tappet cam would be wise to get help with break-in, pushrod...

    Timing chain TNT 440 vendor

If by three hole, you mean three bolt style, those are generally only needed for hipo or race cams. One bolt style, with alignment hole or slot is the one you want. All metal, double roller will last you a very long time.

    1970 Fury I stripper!

ouch. apparently in stock at summit. order now and have it for the shop to install as part of their assembly. 435 lift should have a great power band with that M/T and some gear. balanced assembly will spin up nice. gonna max out that 1bbl tho. what's a safe rev. limit for a slant six?

Issues with cam bearings and clearances. Cam will not fit.

...what the issue is. I've seen references to the cam bore being misaligned and the cam being having excessive runout. I can believe there are cams having excessive runout, but I doubt if that is something that happens a lot. If it does happen, increasing the internal size of the cam...

I located the cancel cams but don't need one I need the replacement part where the wiring connects to, and I don't see how the version I have would come apart due to a...

    Slant six c body

...as it was termed. Direct Connection and some other aftermarket suppliers had HOT ROD parts for the /6. Small AFB carburetors, headers, hotter cams, etc. But as good as the /6 was, it was vastly over-shadowed by larger Chrysler Corp V-8s, back then. Durinig the design stage of the /6...

Considering that a lot of OEM camshafts, even the HP versions, were about 114 degree LSA cams, does that mean that a Holley Sniper EFI system will not work with those stock cams? Or not work well? Please help me understand that as an EFI system sprays the incoming air with fuel whether directly...

...to help the idle smoothness. On the quick open/slow close cam profiles, the valve should stay at max lift for about 10 degrees of crank rotation. More area under the lift curve means more flow. Stock and most other cams only maintain max lift for 1 degree of crank rotation. Enjoy! CBODY67

    Cam package from Comp cams

Hi friends, Does anybody has any info about the Comp Cams package K21-212-4 High energy 206/206? Actually, I live in France, and some guy is selling this package, complete and new. I was wondering what can I expect in terms of power increase if I install it on my 1974 Fury, with 400 ci stock...

    440 in a ‘65 Sport Fury

I recently read about roller cams vs the distributor drive gear: If it's a cast-iron core, a HD shaft will work. If a billet-steel cam core, you need a bronze gear. But what I read recently is that those bronze gears don't last forever, I read they need replaced every 10k miles or so? IIRC...

...hindering it with the factory cam. I would love to know how much a Lunati Voodoo cam (one of the smaller sizes) would help a 361. They provide a lot more area under the curve vs other similar-duration cams. We really don't hear much about folks working with a 361. It's the 413 of the B-series.

My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

If you do change cams, the big problem is gonna be your choice of lifters. There seems to be so much junk out there in the market. A lot of engine builders have commented about poor quality control with respect to cams and lifters. Seems like the lifters from Johnson are the best setup, but...

The XE cams and the xfi are very similar except the xfi has more lift. If you got that far looking up the 217-221 did you also look at the DURATION @ 200 lift more than a lot of bigger cams

...properly. It tries to regulate to to whatever Afr parameters the user plugs in instead of a carb pulling fuel without regard. A stock cam would work excellent, when you get into narrow lsa is where it becomes an issue. Although there are plenty of guys running WAY more radical cams then I am.
