Leaf Springs or Air Shocks for sagging 197070 Chrysler 300

...Snow came with the A35 towing package and I got the correct replacement springs (7-leaf). Regina has the regular suspension, and in that case I went for 6-leaf (not 5) for a slightly firmer ride. FWIW, I had planned on Eaton but ended up going with ESPO. For photos, start here to get some.

70 Fury rearch leaf springs or new?

^ this. I´ve used ESPO twice and have been very happy. One caveat to my agreement with you: the ESPO shackles do NOT work on 1970-1973 fusies. Money wasted to order them. @moparblood — There are several threads on the topic, including a very detailed one by @1970FuryConv with lots of pics...

70 Fury rearch leaf springs or new?

Fourteen months later, I paid a bit less ($528, including S&H to the Midwest) for a set of 7-leaf factory-specs rear springs for Snow White, my 1970 N-code Polara 'vert. Those springs are correct as that Dodge came equipped with the A35 towing package. Here is a breakdown:

Meet Snow White, my 1970 N-code Dodge Polara Convertible

...2. Two weekends ago, @71Polara383 installed the new springs (7-leaf, as correct for the A35 towing package) that I'd ordered from ESPO Springs 'n Things back in November 2021 (yep, it's been a while -- I stuffed my C-body Resto pipeline too deeply , but we are now seeing the light...

Meet Regina FQ3, a 1970 Polara convertible who turns 51 today

Guess who got new springs today thanks to ESPO Springs 'n Things and the help of @71Polara383? Here are the links explaining my choice of springs -- I had planned on Eaton but ended up going with ESPO. PS: I think I see some rake that was not there before -- I know at least a couple folks who...

    Suspension kits

Like several others, including @polara71 and @71Polara383, I have been very happy with ESPO Springs 'n Things. I now have their springs on two of my 1970 Polara 'verts, Regina and Snow White. Here is some info of my decision process...

Meet Snow White, my 1970 N-code Dodge Polara Convertible

...recommended that I order new springs for Snow White. She has the A35 trailer-towing package, so I went for the correct 7-leaf springs from ESPO. They are $340/pair, front eye bolts $8/pair, bushings $21/set, U-bolts $20/set of 4, and shipping to Wyatt's shop is $139.34. They are made in...

Meet Snow White, my 1970 N-code Dodge Polara Convertible

Regina FQ3, my L-code Polara 'vert, has been getting all the attention posts-wise, so it is time to talk a bit about Snow White. --> ESPO delivered the Springs ten days or so ago. Now they need installed, which will happen when temps go up. --> Thanks to @70 Sport Suburban, I have been able to...

Leaf Spring Sag, 1970 Fury Convertible

Thank you, this is useful information. Something additional that I'll need to check before I choose between ESPO and Eaton. A few questions: 1. are the front bushings pressed in, or did you need to specify a request for that to be done? 2. did you buy shackles, or are you hoping to re-use...

1970 Fury III Convertible 126115 miles: Intro & Planned 440/727 Swap

...'verts. I have already ordered one set of 6-leaf springs and related parts (not the original 5-leaf, and not the HD -leaf option either) from ESPO Spring 'n Things for my EW1 N-code, and I now want to order a second set (this time the OEM 5-leaf springs) from Eaton for my FQ3 L-code. Part of...

...quote, the total is $502.27 -- "$375 for the 6-leaf springs, front eye bolts, rear shackle bushings and ubolts plus $127.27 for shipping") The ESPO springs for the 1970 'verts are made in Mexico per Laura, and the Eaton Springs are made in the States per William. My plan is to order a...

New to forcbodiesonly ; Love Shack

@Love Shack, I just saw your post about ESPO leaf springs and realized that I'd never say "welcome" -- so here it is, belatedly! I own a cousin to your car. Poppy (my '70 Polara 'vert) has 33k miles and is still on its original springs. @polara71 and @cantflip think it'd do her good to get new...

    Rear leaf spring shackles

My own experience differs in that respect. Medina, my 1971 Monaco, had rear air shocks when I bought her in Winter 2019. The ride was super stiff as the shocks had been raised to the maximum setting. Things did improve a bit after @71Polara383 lowered the pressure and brought the ride height...
