NOT MINE Sold for 44K !!

That just lowers the value and is a read flag, IMO... Scam all the way, F this guy. If it really sold, someone took it in the shorts.

NOT MINE 1971 NY FB 4dr U code

Correction to my post above thanks to Steve - the label for the car in the subject of this thread then would likely be p/n 3614876 (For a U code 440). If yours was an original CA car, the tag was blue and PCG doesn't always don't stock new ones with the exact part number. You have to call to...

NOT MINE Definitely not mine, but I can dream - 300 Hurst convertible

I guess he's gonna keep everybody guessin' for now, lots of hypotheticals in this thread. Hope he's got enough popcorn.

Are you still in storage in Nipomo or is it at your pad now?

NOT MINE Definitely not mine, but I can dream - 300 Hurst convertible

I came across this 300-H for sale in my latest print edition of Hemmings and was like, "Gah!.... I know that car". and then found this thread here. It's been crickets for a couple months..... This would be a good car for Herb McCandless' museum. You can see engine views in the YooTube...

NOT MINE 1971 NY FB 4dr U code

On a side note - a blue California emissions tag.... p/n [Correction 3614876] - see sample of similar "T" code label below. Interesting that the idle settings differ from a similar tag from one of @saforwardlook 's cars (photo below courtesy of Steve).

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

As an aside, while in commute traffic in San Jose a month ago, a Prius passed me on the left in the #1 lane with a roof mounted light bar, facing rear. It was blasting the Dodge truck (with contractor bed, and mirrors out) that was about 6 inches from its rear bumper, and obviously pissed off...

    Hello from Spain

This Fury would have been a huge upgrade from a SEAT 600 at the time! Este coche habría sido un gran mejora de un FIAT 600 en aquella época.

NOT MINE 1973 Dodge Polara Poss police pkg Mesa AZ

Good progress. This is the fun stage before the excitement of having a new toy wears off, haha. Looks like the factory didn't go too nuts with the bituminous seam sealer on the floor pans, making the cleaning easier. Sometimes the factory slapped that on too generously with what seemed like a 4"...

    The weaponization of the DMV

Yeah, this case was too complicated for AAA. Believe me I tried. There are some "DMV Consultants" out there I've heard that act like counsel for dealing with the agency. @saforwardlook has used one if my memory serves correctly?

    The weaponization of the DMV

Good thing it was a Corolla - if it was a Cadillac they would have shaken you down for a lot more. $25 would have been enough for one of the captains to get some gabagool on the way home.

    The weaponization of the DMV

I went back in person last Friday and spent about an hour down there. By my luck, the manager on duty at the time caught ear of my case as I was explaining to the lady at window #1, and took it on himself. He first mentioned that "Sacramento is increasingly reluctant to register pre-emission...

    How's The Weather?

I'm sure you would have showed those cops how to pull someone over, arrest them, and clear a firearm, the right way. Until that opportunity arises, the entire force is operating untrained and with no experience.
