Exactly What Wheels & Tires Fit C Bodies?

Hey mate. No hub clearance issues at all. The center bore was 72mm if that helps. Yes, still have the Lt & Rt lugs as well. Wheels came from an Australian company. BCI Wheels

    Lug studs.

...for the rear wheels is .673 inches. This is different than the front hubs (on drum cars) - the knurl diameter being .650 inches. Something else to consider - there might be metric studs that might have the correct knurl diameter. This would allow you to use different (ie - current) lug nuts.

Dumb question: removing wheel covers, and right-hand lugs?

...has the full wheel covers that cover the rim also. I use a flat screw driver to pry the caps off and use a rubber mallet to tap them back on so as not to dent them up. Your car has all right hand lug nuts as was reported earlier. Your old lug nuts should all be reusable and fit your new rotors.

    Lug nut studs.

It's not ideal, but it does work. Did it on my old toyota using some sacrificial nuts, I put a light coat of motor oil on the threads to relieve the stress a bit then cleaned it all up, it was still good when I sold the car years later. Mind you, this is a late 80s toyota...not sure if 60s...

What are you working on today??

...1965 Valiant/Barracuda that were on my original 1970 Duster I bought in late 1975. It had 14"x5.5"wheels with small lug pattern and the long lug nuts that stick through the wheel cover. My replica Duster has late A-body disc brakes with the large lug pattern, so I added some dummy stainless...

    Finned drums

...1968 Fury III and the RF drum was finned. I was quite surprised when I popped off the wheel cover, and the studs were only 1/2 way into the lug nuts! I quickly fixed that! My 1971 Fury I had finned drums, so I assumed they started in 1969. My point here is, according to the Dealership Data...

    Correct Lug Nuts

Good Morning I recently purchased the exact same lug nuts for the '65 Chrysler. I purchased mine direct from the 'Lug Nut Guys' Easy Shopping for Lug Nuts, Wheel Locks, Tires, Wheels | Lug Nut Guys Great people to deal with. I e-mailed them on a Saturday afternoon and got responses the same...

    New C-Body Emblems

This might be worth starting a new thread on these road wheel centers. That way you could catch the eye of some guys that now them inside and out. I think they started in 1969 or 70. They are two pieces as shown in this pic of one I did a Heli-Coil thread on. There's some variations that I...

You're always better off finding wheels with the proper center bore and offset to fit the vehicle properly otherwise you may end up causing bigger...

    Correct Lug Nuts

The one thing you need to remember or at least check is if the stock lug wrench fits those lug nuts. I got some from the same guys and they were larger. I carry a 4-way lug wrench anyway.... Easier to use and as it often happens, it gets lent out to the guy with the wrong wrench.

10 Left 10 Right Hand Thread 1/2-20 (CHROME) Lug Nuts for Mopar Dodge LH RH B C Body. ok i cant find these where can i get them ?

I only have the steel LHD lug nuts on mine, for a 14 inch wheel. Eventually planning on getting swapping them out for RHT when I replace the wheels with the 15 inch police ones I got, because I just do not care for reverse threads. They're steel though, not fancy chrome caps or anything like...

NOT MINE 1972 Plymouth Gran Fury 2dr in Nebraska(GY9, 360, 31k miles only, $23.5k ask)

...Roadrunner, I used to get some crap from a few guys about running Keystone wheels on the car rather than the "H" black wheels with chrome lug nuts. I finally told one that there were two reasons. Number one being the car would look like crap with black wheels and number two was that it was...

    RALLY WHEEL LUG NUTS ?

...of the ones in that post are still not correct. I have not seen any reproductions that match the originals that came on my car. Personally, I don't think having an exact match is that important with lug nuts. If a company is making them to fit the older Mopar's, then why not make them look...

    Driveshaft for '68 Fury (2-piece / bushing ?)

My 68 Fury 318 still has one of these 'rubber' shafts, it has 192k on it, the last ~10k behind a good-running 69 440 that gets stomped occasionally. You can still get new LH lugnuts if you search around.

Dumb question: removing wheel covers, and right-hand lugs?

Lot's of cars had LH/RH lug nuts. Buick, Olds and Pontiac had them until 1965. Studebakers had them until the early 60's. Nash and AMC until late 50's. I think Rolls Royce/Bentley still uses them, but I could be wrong.... I'm pretty sure they did use them into the early 2000's. There are...
