    Coolant Leak/Engine issues

Hello, I have a 1967 Plymouth Fury III 383 V8 Commando with A/C. I’m working on fixing a coolant leak from the lower radiator hose when I noticed there was coolant dripping from the third belt closest to the oil pan. Its dripping from the belt and the circular thing (I’m not sure what it is-...

    A/C Heater component

If you look in the picture you can see one of the vacuum tubes that is disconnected. it also looks like my plastic hose coming through the firewall is broken on the end. like it should be attached to something.

65 Fury stock brakes pull to the right

THANK YOU for raising that point! Swollen hoses devil many drivers long before they're discovered. The REAR hose often causes the most damage, as people neglect to change it when they change the front pair. If ONE hose has swollen near shut, its a good idea to change all 3, especially if one...

    The Road to Carlisle

Oil, power steering fluid and gear lube has been ordered, also more parts from Vans Auto. The heater hose nipples will need some persuasion to leave their home for the past 50 years.

Bake booster to Vacuum canister hose size.

I think I have a box of the bigger vacuum hose, let me check tomorrow. I'll just send you a piece, because I know I haven't ever used any of it. I got it a long time ago. And it is the heavy wall hose.

Help to Identify hose out of firewall

I'm working on a buddies 1968 Imperial and as is with most old cars its a bit of exploration and guess work as not everything is the way the factory did it. There is a rubber hose that exits the firewall by the brake booster and then is just tied up in the harness and not connected to anything...

    NOT MINE 67 Sport Fury fasttop, 440 4-speed, gold-black, 53k miles, $18,000 Michigan

Better get this brake hose replaced pronto. Cracks/splits in the outer sheath let debris in, and as the hose flexes, it can abrade the inner material - which holds the pressure. Would be prudent to replace all 3, although cracking the fluid system can often snowball if bleeders/tube nuts don't...

    Electric fuel Pump placement

Its further than 12 inches, i also installed a one way check valve so it keeps fuel primes in the hose "drain back" out the hose into the tank. Im not sure if that works as intended as the pump sometimes still clicks VERY loud, i think the checkvalve might stick every now and then... I run a...

'77 AutoTemp II to Manual conversion

Next were the vacuum lines. All you need to do is follow the routing for the manual AC controls in the service manual. The vacuum servos are all the same. I bought new vacuum lines as I didn't want to hack up the vacuum hose harness. I wanted to keep everything as intact as possible. Not...

Where are all the fuselage brake calipers?

I had a brake hose fail on my New Yorker. The car pulled to the right when braking. The left brake hose was nearly completly clogged although the rubber still looked good on the outside. No brake fluid could reach the left caliper. I think a new brake hose should solve your problem.

    found vacuum leak??? Ideas???

I switched from thinking the intermittent rough idle on my 75 New Yorker (440 engine) was due to carburetor problems to thinking it was due to vacuum problems. I found 2 possible sources of vacuum leaks. The first pictures show the vacuum tree at the back of the engine where the power brake...

I used to live on Kraut Rd in Franksville right off I-94@Hwy 20. I moved to OR for my job in 2008. We are 60 miles North of the CA border. Good eye on the hose clamp. I'll correct that right away. Speaking of hoses...does anyone have good part numbers for the upper a lowers?
