Anyone have more info on the 67-68 Fury police push bumper bar?

Saw ZedR's post about a Texas Highway Patrol 68 Fury that he acquired, and it had this front bumper bar that I've seen in maybe one or two pics floating around on the net, but otherwise not much info: Anyone got more info on these? Doubt they'd stop an animal collision but I think they look cool...

    What is this wagon?

I do hate how much Ford and Chrysler have ****** around with nameplates of vehicles of late. The Chrysler "pacifica" should still be called the town and country IMO. If I owned one I would have pulled the pacific plates off and replaced them with Town and Country badges lol. Ford is the...

Wanted Advice On 383 Big Block

Sounds like a really good car to learn new things on. Get a manual and everything now has a vid. My first "learning" car was a 65 Fury with a poly 318. Back then all we had was a manual and sound advice from the old guy next door. Took me a few minutes to find out a poly 318 was nothing like a...

Shock recommendation for added ride height?

In an old "Motor Trend" magazine tech column, a guy wrote in asking how to raise the ride height on his '65 Imperial as he drove over lots of "logging roads". Their reply included raising the front end via the torsion bar adjustment, with the mention of ride quality due to the raise in...

    Wiring in electric choke

There are 4 terminals on a starter relay. B is direct to battery and hot all the time. G is the NSS S goes to the solenoid on the starter and is only hot when the relay is engaged I goes to the ignition and is only hot when key is twisted to "start". I don't see where it's getting any...
