    Good question. I would hope so. If not on a non-closed system the outer seal should be removed.

    I need to make a correction I bought 4 inch speakers from Crutchfield but they did not fit. I went to retrosound for 3 1/2 inch speakers. So don't get 4 inch, get 3/2 inch.

    halifaxhops When I try to run the electronic system I have little or no fire at the secondary. I need at least 8.5 volts for coil+ to ground, and I have 5-6 volts with the key on. With the points system I have 10.1 volts

    Ballast resistor is the same as points. Both test 1.7-1.8 Timing verified and advance has nothing to do with the voltage drop I'm experiencing

    As far as I can tell the ones offered on Rockauto all have return valves, can you still get non-return caps these days?

    You are quite fortunate. It took 4 years for me to get mine. Yes, seriously. Same car as yours. I had to threaten a lawsuit in order to finally get them. I got many promised dates over the years. They all camd and passed. They make a good product but bad liars.

    It may very well have been overfilled. You need to check it cold.
