    Wiring in electric choke

1954 - early 2000s V-8 engines, 1988 - early 2000s V-6 engines, and late 1950s six cylinder engines share the same 1/8"-27 thread size. The slant six engines differ. Your 1967 383 can use the listed switches.

    Wiring in electric choke

Ooooh do all Chrysler oil pressure switches use the same thread size? I've got a 67 383 and this is exactly how I want my choke to behave. At the moment, I've got it wired up to ignition on so I can't leave the key in that position for too long.

    Group 24, 27 or 34 battery? Good brand? Marine/RV ?

I miss the DieHard batteries with the long warranties that used to be available at Sears. I had one that lasted 10 years once. Now I usually go to NAPA, because the glue on the brand stickers that they use seems to prolong the battery life.

    Pulling seized engine

Hopefully it doesn’t come to this and I can get the pickup out without too much trouble but the sawzall is always a nuclear option

Then it quick to torch or sawzall off the sump and pickup.

    Pulling seized engine

A small block pan is just as easy to take off as a BB The not fun part is removing the center link. Could unbolt it and then lift the edge up to remove pickup. And a SB just 2 oil pump bolts takes off the pickup also. No need twisting it and needing clearance for the twist on a BB

    Group 24, 27 or 34 battery? Good brand? Marine/RV ?

I bought a group 27 at Walmart for the '70 a couple years ago when Costco didn't have one. I had asked at Costco and they said they had not been able to get group 27. I was told they could try to order one, but in the next breath, they said it will probably never come in. I needed one for...

    Group 24, 27 or 34 battery? Good brand? Marine/RV ?

The battery warranties have been dwindling. I just bought a new battery from COSTCO for Mrs. SIPLOWGUY's Jeep. The warranty is only 36 months and is prorated after the first month.
