    Brake booster issues

The hose to the booster might also be bad, check that first. Over time the rubber lining on the inside of the hose can come loose and collapse, blocking the vacuum to the booster. Also check the fitting that goes into the intake manifold as those sometimes carbon up and get blocked. The...

Repetitive Fuel Leak 69 Chrysler 300

Just curious... 5/16" fuel hose? That line from the tank looks like it's squeezed down like when someone has a 3/8" hose on a 5/16" fitting. But it's a picture and hard to tell, so I may be just seeing things.

Too hot- Part 2: Wrong heater hose routing

Greetings, I have the same situation facing me. In researching I’ve found these outfits. Hopefully will help. In the meantime… I would use the U shapes bypass hose and put in on the water pump housing. That’s worked for me. Cheers.

    Finned drums

The rear are the easiest to do. I use a cut off air-chisel bit with a piece of rubber hose on it. The studs are even reusable when done.

what date codes/quarter spark plug wires

I believe it depends on the supplier and logistics and how many days of supply on hand. If Jan or Feb build I would say Q4 1968. Since it was built towards the end of the quarter then it could feasibly be Q1. What’s the date code of your engine and transmission castings, plug wires and hose...

    Coolant Leak/Engine issues

Thank you so much for the mopar site for the manuals and so far it just looks like the lower radiator hose was rotted up top and at the bottom. I also have to replace the transmission cooler lines and I noticed some damage to the thermostat housing so I’m replacing that as well!

    Question on sticky intake valve(s)

Some years ago I made a water injection setup using a bottle of some sort, it had a tiny vent hole to allow air in, then had an aquarium stone attached to a hose in the bottle, then that hose attached to a vacuum hose on the engine. The aquarium stone decreased the flow rate. A bottle of fluid...

Bake booster to Vacuum canister hose size.

15/32 = .468". 5/8 = .625" The difference is 5/32" or .156" So, I don't think that will work. The thing to do is measure your fittings.

What to Replace when Redoing interior HVAC components?

Thanks. I looked up "vacuum gun" and the ones I found on the internet were for sucking liquid out of tight places. Can you give me a name and model of a vacuum gun meant to test car vacuum operated devices?

What to Replace when Redoing interior HVAC components?

IMHO... If it's working, leave it alone. Any "new" reproduction stuff isn't going to be as good. NOS should be better in theory, but realistically NOS stuff is sometimes an expensive crap shoot. If the hoses are still pliable, they will probably last longer than new ones.

360 LA "rear" intake water port

Hello, I have this dual plain air gap intake for my 360LA and I noticed that on the drivers rear it has a 3/8npt water port coming from the rear cylinder water port. My question: can I use this for the heater hose if it wont interfere with the distributor or should this be plugged? It would...

Bake booster to Vacuum canister hose size.

Well, I got the new hose today. However, I have a hard time believing that this 11/32" hose is correct for this. I tried to get it on the fitting, but it is just too small to fit. This new hose I have is clearly marked as 11/32". I've shown pictures of the 5/8" heater hose that was on there...
