...use the roll product cut in half longways. Install on the metal roof running left to right and on the back of the liner running front to back clean the roof with alcohol where you intend to place the Velcro. This orientation takes the guess work out of trying to place the headliner initially.

Doubtful it will be any "less perfect" than my '59 DeSoto Fireflite I plan to bring and show. It sat on a driveway for 30 years prior to me owning it, so there's faded paint, blankets over the seats, and the headliner is disintegrating. But it runs good and is fun to drive :)

Maybe those pieces were redone or cleaned up when the interior was redone. If the headliner is original, they might not have touched anything there.

My 75 New Yorker 2Dr had a one piece board headliner. All the interior trim had to come out to remove the board in one piece, didn’t have to remove the windshield. However, that board is 40+ years old and more brittle than when new, so taking it out May break it. Short of removing it? I don’t...
