    WANTED 1970 nonworking radio

At this point I'm trying to find a radio to rebuild. Perhaps someone has a parts car. The radio does not need to be functioning other than the thumb wheels and dial moves.

    WANTED 1970 nonworking radio

I need the thumbwheel radio. I think they onlt did those in 1969 and 1970 and I'm not sure about 1969. But I need it to have an 8 track included. I need to fill that hole in my dash too.

    WANTED 1970 nonworking radio

Thanks Big John. I talked with Gary earlier today about doing my radio. He said he is overwhelmed at this time. He also said that he didn't want the job. I will keep trying. I lost my radio when I sent it to Barry's 8-track repair. He passed away back in July and his ex threw everything away...

    WANTED 1970 nonworking radio

I am searching for a 1970 Chrysler 300 AM-FM-FM Stereo- 8 track factory radio. Nonworking is fine as long as the dial moves and the thumbwheels turn. This is a candidate for a rebuild so nothing too rugged. Also looking for a recommendation from someone who has had their radio rebuilt with all...

    Convertible rear speaker

I need to make a correction I bought 4 inch speakers from Crutchfield but they did not fit. I went to retrosound for 3 1/2 inch speakers. So don't get 4 inch, get 3/2 inch.

    Door Panels

You are quite fortunate. It took 4 years for me to get mine. Yes, seriously. Same car as yours. I had to threaten a lawsuit in order to finally get them. I got many promised dates over the years. They all camd and passed. They make a good product but bad liars.

    Door Panels

They do very good work. But they take a long time to get them done. How long did you have to wait after you placed your order?

    Convertible rear speaker

Thanks again Big_John. My 1970 300 is a convertible. Therefore I have 4 inch speakers on the left and right side of the dash. The right speaker was fairly easily to access. I have a shop manual which gave me instructions on removing the glovebox to access the speaker. The left speaker is going...

Fuel tank sending unit gaskets and other trivia.

Where did you purchase the fuel sending unit? I am having trouble finding one. The locking ring and gasket is available from Rock Auto Parts. But they do not have the fuel sending unit.

    Crutchfield Radio.

Thank you Big_John. I sent the radio conversion service an email. There was a comment in their pricing link that said they would not work on radios which have a tape player at this time. Mine has an 8 track player as part of the factory unit. Perhaps they have changed their policy and might work...

    Wanted: Fuel Sending Unit

I have checked the local auto parts stores but they are unable to provide this part. I am looking for the whole apparatus including the float. I checked Rock Auto Parts and they don't carry this item but they do have the gasket and ring. If there is someone who has found a supplier for this...

    Crutchfield Radio.

Has anyone put a Crutchfield radio into their C body? Specifically this model: Redondo RTM2B. I believe this will fit in my 1970 Chrysler 300. I would like to find someone that has put any Crutchfield radio into your car. I have several questions. For example do I need to also purchase the DIN...

WANTED convertible part for 1970 300

In the center of the back seat is a speaker. Behind the back seat is a long plastic protective piece that covers the rear speaker. It is inside the well. I am in need of that part. Driver quality is okay but no cracks or broken off pieces. I am in the Austin, Texas area.
