NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L Conv., 413/4-spd. (Mecum; No Reserve; Jan. 14)

I said it in post 16 of this thread and have been saying it for about 18 months. I didn't think it would happen with these cars but I witnessed it when selling my wagon. Disappointing really. Im glad I dont have anything to go upside down in.

    Remember when?

I always liked that show. I watch it now on various channels that run old shows.

    Cheap Chinese laser welders.

This popped up in my YouTube suggestions. Apparently Alexa is now reading over my shoulder in addition to listening to me. I didn't watch the whole thing.

I have to agree with this... "Boomers" are getting too old to play with cars anymore or dying off and their widows or kids are liquidating.

Try the Dorman help section at your local auto parts store - I bought a 5/8" hole size boot that fit the pitman on my '68 perfectly.

    Head motor install, set up.

I just got my headlight motor back from topher for my 68 300, my question is, is there a certain way to put it back in so the doors open like they should. Everything was powered down when I took it off so doors are open now. It looks like there is a 2 marks on it that are lined up. Should I shut...

    The weaponization of the DMV

Update: 1/10/26 - Paperwork returned to me for the 4th time. They have dropped all of the previous requests and just want another $300 this time. Despite having paid $281 extra last fall, and $1900 back in '22, the previous $700 they wanted back in December has been reduced to $300 for...

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L Conv., 413/4-spd. (Mecum; No Reserve; Jan. 14)

Many collectors are aging out. I have picked up good 40's and 50's cars in the past 10 years that I never thought I could in their hey day of the 80's. Estates are getting liquidated. I am hoping to be around in 20 years to see what happens with the muscle car market.

    Window Switch Not Working

Correct - I got one from him recently. If he has one (a rebuilt switch), you can get it that way, too. THEN your old one can be kept as a spare.

AI Pics of YOU created (car-related)

I asked Chatgtp what my Desoto would look like bagged. It decided to modify the angle of the hood while it was at it. I also asked it to fix GMs **** up with the Blazer and show me what a 2023+ Colorado would look like as a 2 door SUV with a removable top, like the K5.

AI Pics of YOU created (car-related)

I created this one using a fellow FBBO member's car. AI did rotate the car to a different perspective than the original. I made retro style movie posters using a picture of my '79 300:
