    I will be redoing my green 72 and brown 73 so there will be a lot more to come on the AutoTemp II topic. I have never dealt with this system before but I fix cars for a living so this is not too hard.

    Thanks, I have never seen that system. I think Autotemp I is quite a nice system. The servo/ coolant combo in the version II seems not like a good combination. Is it possible to get a new amplifier or to have it rebulit?

    pretty much the one I have now. two door, sunroof, split power, bucket seats, autotemp ii, rear air FM-8trac, rear speakers, Sure grip, power locks, sentinel guard, auto dimming headlights, cruise control, only thing I would change is order it in triple black instead of triple blue.

    A 1976 NY should have the AutoTemp II 2.0 system which does NOT use the power servo unit in the engine bay. Instead, the servo unit will be mounted on top of the heater box under the dash cover. These units will NOT interchange.

    Usually when there is no blower motor activity taking place when turning on the Autotemp II system, it is due to a failed vacuum check valve in one of the various vacuum lines in the system. Those valves are usually in the lines hanging down on the floor hump or otherwise in the vacuum lines...
