NOT MINE 1968 Plymouth VIP 4-door hardtop, barn find, 34k miles, 318, Hamburg, Pennsylvania

Wasn't it true for a lot of these mopar cars, that a certain car came "standard" with power windows or am radio or power brakes or power steering, but at the dealership you could have any of those items knocked off for $10 or $150 so it made a farce out of the "standard" concept and pricing?

    Cheap Chinese laser welders.

They've really come down in price in 2 years then. Where are they made? If that much money is being funneled into youtube advertising, guess how much more we're paying at retail for those advertised products to cover that. I say that google's revenue stream goes straight to increasing the CPI...

1966 Newport 383 — Factory Mechanical Fan & Spacer Part Numbers?

Ah, I see. I figure the radiator will still hold more coolant and have more surface area, so while it won’t work as well as it would with the correct core support, it should still perform better than the smaller 22" setup with a four-blade fan. Chris

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L Conv., 413/4-spd. (Mecum; No Reserve; Jan. 14)

I was there in person and saw the car. It was very nice and I thought it would go 60-80, so went to lunch when it was crossing the block. Could not believe it went so cheap or I would have stuck around and been bidding.

AI Pics of YOU created (car-related)

Here are a few I generated for a Father's Day card for my dad a few years ago. I have a long-running issue with store-bought Father's Day cards: they're either insulting ("Dad, you drink beer and spend a long time in the bathroom") or they're so serious they read like a eulogy. My goal was to...

NOT MINE 1968 Plymouth VIP 4-door hardtop, barn find, 34k miles, 318, Hamburg, Pennsylvania

I don't know why they wouldn't wash it up for this listing: a $50 detailing could make this beauty look like a a few thousand more! Maybe they think the "barn find" look will fetch more in today's market, or maybe the dust is covering something unfortunate... I sure hope this goes to a good home...

NOT MINE 1968 Plymouth VIP 4-door hardtop, barn find, 34k miles, 318, Hamburg, Pennsylvania

Nope, options are just that: optional. The VIP was just a trim level, giving you fancier trimmings, like the Gran Sedan/Coupe that came later (and my Gran has a small block, manual windows/seats/locks, no A/C, etc.).

    Cheap Chinese laser welders.

Under the video is (surprise) a link to the machine. $5100USD $7300CDN. A lot of those YouTube guys get stuff like that for free or get a kickback if you buy through their affiliate link. Really though, just looking at US dollars, it's not that big a business expense. I don't know how...

Voyager 1 and 2 still alive!!!! 38,000 mph!

NASA has once again reminded us why the Voyager missions remain one of humanity's boldest triumphs: even after nearly 50 years in the void, Voyager 2 is still beaming back data that's forcing scientists to rethink the edge of our solar system — and it's far wilder than anyone predicted.Launched...
