What does the interior of a complete and working glove box look like?

Okay, I took a chance on one that looked exactly like the parts I had but whose ad said didn't fit mine but that could be due to the seller not putting all compatible vehicles on their list. I tried taking what I have apart but the only thing I got off was the "base" chrome ring. I couldn't...

What does the interior of a complete and working glove box look like?

Welp, I have the strike plate that CBODY67 described and I have the push button with key slot BUT I'm missing the back side with the lock cylinder... (excuse me while I call my therapist). Do you think a lock smith might be able to supply a generic tumbler or do I need to buy one of these...

What does the interior of a complete and working glove box look like?

That's extremely helpful, thanks. I was able to find a lock online, just need to check what's in my glove box. Could be just an adjustment issue but I think I'm probably missing the latch mechanism. I'll look at it in the morning.

What does the interior of a complete and working glove box look like?

My 65 Plymouth Fury III has the door and hinge but isn't able to stay closed and I can't find any images of what parts I might be missing. Would someone please post photos and if possible a list of parts one might need? The Factory Manual doesn't cover this stuff. Thanks!

Has anybody 3D printed a radio knob for a 65 Fury?

Thanks, I tried looking up argent silver and google AI hits me with a video on how to make a resin mold and mix in metallic powder from a company named EnvironMolds. They don't carry the argent silver but have stainless steel and aluminum powders. Not sure how well they turn out but it might...

    Welcome, NeverTooLateToRegress

Thanks. It, ah, photographs well, I guess. But, it needs quite a bit of work (needs new heater core, PS pump rebuild, rusty panel repair, AC rebuild, water pump, new gaskets, etc.) although the last owner did replace the radiator and the alternator, maybe even put in new plugs but that's about...

Has anybody 3D printed a radio knob for a 65 Fury?

Well, I offered $21 and it got accepted and now some knobs are heading my way. I guess somebody else must have offered $20. According to Google AI, they normally go for $19 to $30 in used condition and up to $65 in NOS mint condition. But, Big John is right, far cheaper route to take. I think...

Has anybody 3D printed a radio knob for a 65 Fury?

It looks like Big John's post is the right type along with some other knobs. Darn it, now I'm gonna have to get an Ebay acc't.

Has anybody 3D printed a radio knob for a 65 Fury?

Thanks, been awhile since I've been on Ebay so I have to get back in the habit of thinking that way.

Has anybody 3D printed a radio knob for a 65 Fury?

I just bought a Fury and am missing a radio knob and want to find a replacement, I figured getting a shop to make me one from a 3d file might be the way to go but I don't have 3d printer (yet). Anyone attempted it?

    What is this called?

I suppose if you had one in bad shape, you could try to create a mold and then pour some kind of plastic into it and make a new one.

It´s time for the Slab picture thread

The adventure begins, my first project car, a 65 Fury III. You can see it in "action" at 0:42 in the intro to "the Godfather of Harlem" TV series. You can see the rear and side of the car on the right at the corner of the block.
