    NOT MINE '96 Toyota Classic

You'd be forgiven for thinking that was a Chrysler Corporation product.

    NOT MINE '96 Toyota Classic

The first Toyota AA (actually a replica). You can't help but notice how much it borrows from the Chrysler Airflow.

    Recommendations for waxing/protectant on 68' 300 Grill

I used Ever Brite after removing the anodize and polishing all the aluminum trim on my 1965 Belvedere. I also used it on the all-aluminum engine to preserve the appearance. Mike

    NOT MINE '96 Toyota Classic

Yes, I know, 'what are you thinking posting a bloody Toyota on here?', just an oddity clearly influenced by early Chrysler styling. Had never heard or seen one of these until today, I'm not sure who was copying who, but this looks a bit like the PT Cruiser with an Airflow-inspired front end...

    NOT MINE '69 Newport 2-door $1900

I'm 95% certain the underside of this car is clean. Geographically, it's in the right place to be resting in a field. I bet folks didn't jump on the Servpro because it was in similar tall grass and assumed it was all rotten underneath. The car is incredibly clean.

3 forward looks @ cars on the square

The '55-'56 cars looked good, but the '57s just were so far ahead of anything anybody else was doing it was not funny. A shame that also coincided with other issues on them. Still, I recall an interview with Dave Hols, a GM stylist back then, who said that when the '57 Chryslers hit the...

The old stalling when put in gear syndrome

Thanks for the information. PCV air is one of those things that is calibrated into the total carb calibration. Which affects the location of the idle discharge ports and transition slot. Specs on flow are hard to find, but I did find some in an old Exxon service station service manual back in...

    Carb fuel line connector

You have to work at getting a flare nut wrench to slip. By any chance were you using a metric sized wrench? That said, once you start rounding off the nut, the vise grips become your tool of choice.
