'65 300L question please - What does this look like?

Here's a bad pic of mine many years ago. I did not know the emblem was to be illuminated, and discovered a wire hanging loose, and that it went to the emblem. I disconnected it afterward as I thought it looked a little goofy.

Is this a '67 Monaco/Polara 500 lower door trim piece?

This one's trying to make a break for it

NOT MINE 1970 Polara convertible for sale in Hilton NY (383-2, EF8 Dark Green, $20k ask)

It looks like a decent car, but this spot in teh paint jumped out at me. Then I noticed most of the body pics are in shadows and/or far from teh car. It should have eyeballs on it to make sure the paint isn't hiding a lot of flaws. It looks either like original paint, or a poor-quality re-spray...

For Sale ROAD WHEELS COMPLETE SET

Where were you a couple years ago? I literally had to purchase 4 different sets of wheels yes 4 to get all the trim rings and center caps and the wheels themselves in good condition. Then I put them all together to get one complete set in perfect condition on my car. Currently I still have four...

NOT MINE '68 Fury - Claimed low mileage.

In 56 years I would imagine there would be some environmental changes. I wonder what that would cost to keep in a perfect environment chamber for that long.

NOT MINE '68 Fury - Claimed low mileage.

its nice, but IF correct mileage, it saw(and learned from experience) IF somewhere UNdriven for a long time, that itself could be deterimental The underhood scale is problematicas well , plus "dry-rot/dis-use" maladies (unknow, but fixed?) it likely had/has from sitting idle 50+ years perhaps...

Can you help a Small block Chevy guy understand a 1962 Chrysler 413 with cross-ram manifold? - compression and pump gas?

That leaded-gas thing isn't a hard/fast rule. It depends on how the car is driven, and it doesn't happen immediately. High speed/rpm, towing, and racing cause more damage. I daily-drove a 68 318 for about 7 years, mostly highway use at 75mph (I read this qualifies as 'hard usage' regarding...

65 Fury belt line trim clips

I wonder if a little heat (but not too much) would make them pliable enough to snap into the holes better.

    300-H HURST nerd stuff...

Never mind about the Door Sticker. I contacted the auction house (Andy is a GREAT guy) and he's getting a pic from the elderly owner's son ASAP. Andy drove this car and he said it is so comfortable and just floats down the road, no nonsense at all.

    RV2 Compressor Rebuild

Some sand blasting, a trip through the parts washer and fresh paint and it looks great. I will be getting the shavings cleaned out and getting it ready to make ice cold air. The connecting rods and crank were damaged but I think the crank will clean up, and new pistons will get it running...

    RV2 Compressor Rebuild

I am trying to do more work on the 73 Plymouth Fury as it is sitting waiting on its carburetor to come back. The air conditioning and heater need work so I am getting it going. The compressor would only turn 3/4 of the way, then it would stop and could be rotated backwards to the same spot...

NOT MINE '68 Fury - Claimed low mileage.

If they had time to put those wheels/tires on it they had time to fix the exhaust leak. Must've been stored with a lot of moisture changes, the underhood shows a lot of tarnishing. Esp rearward of the fendertag - I've never seen surface rust like that in that location before.

NOT MINE 1971 Imperial LeBaron 4dr on eBay

The factory power antenna doesn't retract all the way down, it stays up about 8-12 inches. It's also thicker than this one and has a stainless bead at the top, where as this one is black.
