65 Imperial with a 413 CI that cranks but won't start

If the points aren't opening he wouldn't have any spark. How to tell if distributor points are bad? First check for power to the coil. If you have 12v there, then manually open the points and check for spark from the coil. If no spark, remove the wire from the points and manually "spark" it...

For Sale OEM Used Mopar 426w Throttle Cable

This is a OEM Used Mopar 426w Throttle Cable. It came off of a 1964 Dodge with a 426w 4bbl engine. It is 20 3/4" long. I believe it will also work on the 66 to 70 big block engines with a 2 or 4 bbl carb. The outer coating has a small wear spot as you can see in the pics, but it functions...

    Throttle pressure adjustment - 904

I’m putting a transgo tf-2 shift kit in Elwood’s transmission and I have a question about adjusting the throttle pressure. The fsm calls for a tool - C-3763 to set the gap for the throttle kickdown valve when it is compressed. I found this link that states the tool is 0.625” wide. A-904...

vintage pics of women & cars

We've probably already posted a couple of these pics, but this would be a good time to repost some Annette Funicello with her '57 T-bird. Reportedly her first car at 16. From what I read, the T-Bird was originally white. I have seen pics of this car in yellow, with white door jambs, but I'm...

65 Imperial with a 413 CI that cranks but won't start

From that picture it looks like the points are not set correctly. Big_John circled the area and if that is the case, it will never start. Points are not that difficult to set up. The factory manual should tell you how to do it.
