NOT MINE 3 ‘70 Polara Convertible Projects - Rose Bowl on FB

It could. The black car means more to me then this show car. Maybe that's wrong, but after having it out for the first time in a long time this weekend. It validated everything I've ever thought. I love that thing. If the orange show car ended up on my possession, I'd try to do it justice...

    NOT MINE '69 Newport 2-door $1900

I'm 95% certain the underside of this car is clean. Geographically, it's in the right place to be resting in a field. I bet folks didn't jump on the Servpro because it was in similar tall grass and assumed it was all rotten underneath. The car is incredibly clean.

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler Newport 2dr - $3,500 (York) PA

Sure it can be saved. Assuming the stub is the worst of the rust, and you are willing. Sub replacement isn't too difficult, just time and space consuming. Looks like the rear window may be leaking too. If I were after it, I would source a stub frame and plan the swap. Regasket/paint the...

NOT MINE 1970 Polara 2dr HT with 383 for 1200$

Exactly. I like melting tires. I like blasting down gravel roads. I had a nice survivor for a little while. Terribly un-enjoyable. Not to mention it drove like crap. Gimme beaters all day long. They are more fun.

NOT MINE 1970 Polara 2dr HT with 383 for 1200$

That's okay. Not everything needs to be a full tear down to be an enjoyable car. "Power over paint." "Don't get it right, just get it running." "Beaters are neater" These are mottos I tend to live by.

Maybe someone will chime in, but you are certainly in uncharted territories here my friend. With the 69-73 wagons once rust gets up behind the tail lights into these difficult to access areas. It's usually game over. You've come this far, I'm confident you'll find a way to get this handled too.
