If you really want to build power, TURBOCHARGE. Yep, more plumbing is needed plus an intercooler, but once turbo lag disappears, better look well down the road, because you'll be there much sooner than later. With any kind of booster motor, I hope you allowed for a wider compression ring end...

    1966 Monaco drive shaft

Pinion angle has no relation to driveshaft type/length unless it is very out of whack, which rear leaf springs will not tolerate. Nor will the GM cars they were probably thinking of, with their fixed-length rear control arms. Considering that pinion angle relates to how the rear spring saddles...

For that kind of money you can get a nice high performance crate motor. How much horsepower are you looking for. Your post says you already redid the engine. Did you build it stock or with some modifications. There are quite a bit of cars out there running fast quarter mile times without a...

Rear seat belt configuration, 67 300 drop top!

Male buckles are on the outside, female buckles on the inside. If you want to put a 3rd set in (middle passenger), put them on the same bolts as the two middle female buckles are... just double them up.

That's certainly why you'd do it after. But if it does fit well before, doing it after is just introducing a terrible weakness for further rusting in the future.

Rear seat belt configuration, 67 300 drop top!

Been a while since I posted here, lots of stuff going on has kept me from finishing details on my 67 300. Finally got all the rebuilt power window motors re and re'd. All the switches back from Devinism, and a ton of work repairing and strengthening my door cards, where pretty much all of the...

65 Imperial with a 413 CI that cranks but won't start

@Big_John This is what he did: Here's the timing and gap information that he used used below. He found it on an imperial club website... He put the spark plug wires in order (obviously the site I got my firing order from was wrong ), he adjusted dwell to 29. Adjusted idle set screw after he...

I like the after option. Because, what if the before don't fit?

I have an issue with pinion angle and the driveline shop tells me it originally came with a double shaft. Just didn't sound right.

More test fitting. Got all the quarter pieces playing nice with each other. (Glad i double checked, you could see my initial cut with the tape there.) Not sure if i should weld this in before or after final fit of the tub. If I do it after the tub is in, it'll be more accurate and fit the tub...

NOT MINE 1968 Dodge Polara Convertible 440 Magnum - $28,700 Texas

Sold it like 13 years ago, probably shouldn't have. It was a really nice Northwest Survivor car, ended up going to Europe. Guy bought it to flip and liked it so much once he got it home he kept it.

Which AC compressor. RV2 or Sandon on my 66 New Yorker

I agree... Last summer when my compressor was working good, the AC was blowing ice cold but the fan speed seemed a bit lackluster. It would be great if there was a way to get a more powerful fan.
