I just did this past week end and I moved the hose brackets towards the back 3 or 4 inches. No strain or rubs in any direction.

The loose carb nuts could have resulted in a rougher idle, but no fuel smells, typically. Interesting how much oil was on the valley pan.

That fuse box is with another harness I have from a '70 New Yorker. The one in this car is still there, I will check out it's condition today.

LOL, hard to get a clean shot of fender tag.. took me a while to decode it. I edited the description in my ad with the codes I could make out. But here you go.

look around for a local rebuild shop and get your alternator rebuilt. Much better than a China rebuild from a parts house and it keeps locals employed.
