NOT MINE 1968 Dodge Polara Convertible 440 Magnum - $28,700 Texas

I'm not a construction engineer but this setup looks sketchy. Half the supports up to the roof are perched midway between the columns, and that steel looks like it is 4", although it might be 6". It's hard to tell if it was a barn that got chopped up and skinned in metal, or a metal building...

That's would be tempting if I wasn't so disciplined about avoiding trouble.

NOT MINE 1970 N-code Fury iii convertible (formerly FK3 orange, now B5 blue)

Both bumpers are slightly twisted. Passenger front corner, drivers rear corner. Poor paint coverage behind drivers front bumper corner. Body side molding inserts are missing and painted black. Front seats are incorrect but at least back seat recovered to match. This is the only improvement I...

NOT MINE 1970 N-code Fury iii convertible (formerly FK3 orange, now B5 blue)

Seems like they are being more realistic and now auctioning it, albeit the reserve might be that ridiculous $29,500.

NOT MINE NOT MINE - 1966 Fury III 383, 4 speed WITH FACTORY AC for sale

Thanks for the correction. I will use my newly-corrected AMC knowledge whenever applicable. Actually, it's been so long since needing AMC info, that's why I don't remember it correctly.

Why not be both? :) @68PK21 440.6bbl I think 'Twin Spin' is AMC's term for a limited-slip differential.

NOT MINE 3 ‘70 Polara Convertible Projects - Rose Bowl on FB

Yes, for the $$$ it would take to do just an 80% job on one of those, you could surely find some RTG cars to pick from. They don't pop up often, but a year-long search would surely bring 1 or 2 worthwhile prospects.

    There's a 69 Polara available in post #1. :) $4500 without the multi-car discount.

    NOT MINE '69 Newport 2-door $1900

That's the best rear bumper I've ever seen on a $1900 car. Front bumper looks decent too, just can't tell if it's as nice as the rear one.

NOT MINE 1970 Polara convertible for sale in Hilton NY (383-2, EF8 Dark Green, $20k ask)

It looks like a decent car, but this spot in teh paint jumped out at me. Then I noticed most of the body pics are in shadows and/or far from teh car. It should have eyeballs on it to make sure the paint isn't hiding a lot of flaws. It looks either like original paint, or a poor-quality re-spray...

NOT MINE '68 Fury - Claimed low mileage.

If they had time to put those wheels/tires on it they had time to fix the exhaust leak. Must've been stored with a lot of moisture changes, the underhood shows a lot of tarnishing. Esp rearward of the fendertag - I've never seen surface rust like that in that location before.

This^. If you're gonna make it so pretty that one's enjoyment must be limited to only looking at it, buy some art.

    NOT MINE 1970 dodge monaco

I think that'd be a good buy at $7500 or so due to it needing expensive bodywork and paint. Great colors. Rust-free, new seatcovers in a matching color that look like they were properly done. Change the hood if you must, get a replacement rear bumper, and it would be no different than similar...

    NOT MINE 1973 Monaco 4 door 440

For future reference, in case we see it again: Per my memory of it last time for sale, it has a TON of rust bubbles below the rear glass, under the vinyl and in the dutchman. Back then it was a decent car for the price, but definitely one that required a gameplan/goal before dumping a lot of...

NOT MINE 67 Sport Fury 440 4 speed 3hrs left BAT

Well that honeymoon didn't last long. Those are the same pics from the previous sale, so presumably no changes have been made to the car. I saw a lot of detail issues last time I looked at the ~200 BaT pics. The front wheellip trim is stick-on plastic chrome. And other stuff. All in all, it...

NOT MINE The BOAB's twin..and in Ontario Canada!

That looks like a decent car for the money. Good colors. 68 Newport is on the shortlist of cars where I like both the front and rear styling treatments, and hte 4dr hardtop is pretty sleek.

NOT MINE NOT MINE - 1966 Fury III 383, 4 speed WITH FACTORY AC for sale

This car was more realistic when it was for sale for ~12k or so by the prior seller a few years ago. It had the same peeling paint and worn/incorrect seats back then. Seeing the cracked/peeling dashpad, multi-cracked steering wheel, the warped doorpanel corner, the windlace that's pulling apart...
