RIP
I never had the privilege to meet him, but talked to him on the phone, and was able to receive so great items for my 300 from him. Very passionate guy for the hobby.
Some of us may have "fallen" into one or more of these traps. Some I am sure my folks tripped over when they were 30-somethings.'

Great information!
Did they still sell only Plymouth during the time you worked there? And do you happen to know when they closed? From the dealer #62278 they got their dealership agreement in 1963.
The cylinders and reed valves both look good. I think I’m gonna continue with disassembly to check for any more damage. Assuming I don’t find any I’m gonna put it back together and hope for the best..
I'd be good with that or anything. next question is where? I haven't been to this since it was in Shakopee, and that was with Polara_500 so I was just a passenger

I purchased a 1975 Imperial a few weeks ago and have repaired several small items so far such as window motors, clock, radio, and a/c compressor. I now get cold air from the autotemp II unit but only the low fan speed.
The parts manual may be of some help, this is from the 1974 parts catalog but it seems that the air conditioning chapter (24) is missing from all the manuals I have.
