    Leed Brakes conversion

Sorry @Welder guy but I'm too lazy to do an entire thread on it, but the gist of it is I originally converted my front to disc brakes (scarebird kit - and yes, there are some who like it, some who don't...such is life) to go along with the stock 383 and stock power brake booster, which worked...

    Leed Brakes conversion

I agree with @Big_John in that I tried their vacuum pump (not an entire conversion kit) and it was inconsistent at best. I could see it being useful if you were drag racing, but not cruising. I ultimately scrapped it in favor of hydroboost. The reason why? I put a big *** camshaft in my 440/505...

    Power Steering Gear Leak - '68 300

Most likely the rubber o-ring in between those two parts. You shouldn't need to remove the gear box for that. Just unbolt those two bolts to remove that top part. Be aware though, once you put it back together, you'll need to SLIGHTLY adjust it left or right (depending) with soft taps before...

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

I think it's fair, but I don't really know anything about it beyond what you've shown in the pics AND assuming it's not cancerous rottomous maximus. Then again, it's worth whatever you're willing to pay for it. I'm also all for anything to keep these ol boats on the roads as long as possible if...

1964 windsheid and rear window gaskets

@Keldon59 I have to do my windshield at some point, but let me know how your process goes since I haven't done this before either. I have the FSM, but any pics or barriers you come across would be helpful. Thanks!

    Starter gap 318

Does your transmission have an inspection plate you can remove to look in there and see where the friction is or isn't? I had this happen for a hot second with my 727, but it just took some jockying around AND I had to 'machine' the mating surface of my mini torque starter to get the flywheel to...

    Aftermarket brake light switch

My 64 NY didn't have that metal clip either. I left it off, it sits in their snug for me and the pushrod keeps it there as well. Hasn't been a problem.

    Steering wheel

My 64 bench is able to tilt and slide on the steel track. One bolt to loosen on each side. It might give you enough space.
