Tilt / telescopic column with rimblow wheel

those locking levers can also be adjusted somewhat by removing the three screws shown, and moving them over a hole or two on the round piece below them that presses on the locking rod. i have had many of those columns apart, and i actually built a tilt/telescope column with a removable steering...

1972-73 IMPERIAL FOR SALE Tracker starting NOW into INFINITY.

color is b5 blue which was a factory color. But apparently it´s been repainted and either very bad or in a somehow matte finish which of course is wrong. I would very closely inspect for bondo and rust. Front seats are redone, you can see that the leather is also kinda matte and not as shiny as...

    AIR Conditioning Service

When trying to get an old system going again, plan for the "default mode", which is it's going to need everything. When our '72 Newport needed a new condenser, I found one in a salvage yard which had double the number of coils in the condenser (32 vs 16, or something like that). So I got...

    2024 Hot Rod Power Tour

I cannot stress enough how much I enjoy this event. Honestly if I had to choose between Carlisle and Hot Rod Power Tour, I would probably choose Power Tour. I know that's blasphemy, but it is just that good. The Nats hands down would choose Power Tour. Day 5: off to IRP (home to US Nationals)...

    Front door glass adjustment

Ok, I"ll read the FSM about tweaking the vent frame. There's a lot of play in the whole assembly. I can move the glass up and down about a half inch and the regulator parts go with it. Could be wear in the whole thing allowing it to sag.

    Front door glass adjustment

Stand back from the car 8-10' and look at that a-pillar gap. The only adjustment to get the top of the glass parallel to the roof is to rotate the vent frame in the door (or the full door). Alan

Awesome Hawk, see you there. Got a extra car going this year with my son's car so will bring ice and beer. Made it home from Power Tour, 1/2 quart of oil and a starter relay, the only casualties.

    AIR Conditioning Service

step one would be putting the gauges on it...and seeing if there's any pressure in the system....if it's just low you stand a chance of topping it off with R12 and then seeing if it was low due to the fact that it has been losing a tiny bit for 40 years and can be ignored or if it loses more at...

    ETR valve

Hi. This might not help You anymore, but since You asked it I tested late model ETR(EPR) from 78 ATC II (Pictured in FSM page). Cooled in the freezer. The valve was rock solid at 32F, opening only small amount. In higher temperatures, stem moves freely against the spring pressure. I judge this...
